This painting of
a rusted out old car from days of ridge running moonshine during
the prohibition, was inspired by the fact that it was so camouflaged
by the elements around it that it was nearly unrecognizable.
The area was in one of the coal mining regions of northeastern
Pennsylvania. The irony is that the elements that were used to
create the material for this automobile may have come from where
it is now resting.
